The Turbulent Typhoons

The Turbulent Typhoons is a Robotics Techology and Engineering Team, one of four, at Blendon Middle School, who participated in the FIRST/LEGO League (FLL) Climate Connections Robotics Challenge. The team responded to the challenge to investigate problems on our planet caused by global climate change and to propose innovative solutions for them. Our team includes: Josh, Laura, and Zach (now 9th graders); and Carissa, Jimmy, and Margot (now 8th graders); all who have been in the robotics program for at least two years. Additionally, we have a new member from The Chill Factor, Eli, who has joined our team. Our coaches are Dr. Susan Holland and Mr. Ken Harrah. Mrs. Carla Tedeschi is our parent mentor. The current Typhoons are working to fulfill our outreach mission, as the FLL Core Values Ambassadors for the State of Ohio, presenting to various groups and mentoring new teams. Contact us!
